Thoughts before Mexico

It's been a weird week at the WinTwins household. I've been off my game, to say the least. Lots of stuff on my mind. My Mexico trip up in the air. Odd news coming my way.

First of all, my thoughts and prayers go out to Casey Borer, who's out for the season with a broken neck. OUCH! Reading accounts of the bus crash, it seems amazing that no one was killed and that none of the injuries are considered "career threatening" (though a broken neck is probably not GREAT for a pro hockey player). The rest of the River Rats are in my thoughts as well. Poor guys!

I'm GOING TO MEXICO! Thank goodness! I'm leaving this morning, which is why I'm up at this ungodly hour. I'll have more to say when I get back -- Hockey playoffs and Spring Training. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!!

My Huskies have an off week this week, which drives me nuts. It's just a weekend to watch other teams pass you up! UGH! With that said, I only have two words left...
